PM sent but it's still in my 'Outbox'

I sent a PM a week ago or so to another forum member. The PM is still in my 'outbox' rather than in 'sent messages' ? Unfortunately, I can see from the members profile he hasn't been active since before I sent the PM :o so obviously I haven't had a reply

Thanks

Re: Dormobile Gathering Normandy 2nd-4th June 2012

I am going to get Dormy on one of these trips one day. Regretfully, we can't join this one as I am working that particular weekend.

Hope it all goes well for those who make the effort and even if it is not all plain sailing, I am sure the wine will help make you feel better !

though it was advertised as a 1966 - perhaps a late '66 which wasn't registered until '67 Hi Robin, Probably just like Dormy. Phil (PJKR on the series 2 forum) checked the records and told me Dormy came out of dispatch and went to 'Dormobile' in Aug.66, but wasn't registered (in Stirling) until Feb...

Re: Dormobile in progress

Here is a copy of a post I added on a similar thread in the series 2 club forum: - "I saw exactly that on a 3/4 ton ambulance many-many years ago (1980-85 ) in Dundee. IIRC, looking more closely and talking to the owner, it used the f/glass elevating section of a Martin & Walter "Dormo...

Dormy - then and now

A couple of pics as suggested. Got a lot more with added bits to Dormy (or in the process) but thought these would suffice for now just to show despite it all, basic is best (and yes, that is the same tent !): -

Re: The Dormobile has landed

Hi Mick,

Bit of a surprise this. Had they been planning it all along and not telling anyone ?
