Re: Just got here.

Hi John, Glad you made it  I think some folk used to frown at the 200TDi transplant, but even some 'hard core' chaps eventually succumbed. The 200/300TDi really is one of the most sensible choices, but they are getting harder to find. Even early MOT failure Discos seem to be going for £500+ ...

I know the anti-spam-bot verification wasn't the best in the world, but it was the one which came as standard on the forum software, so it was left on. However, after a few comments about registrations failing at the last hurd...

Welcome Dick - you've obviously been around Dormobiles and Land Rovers longer than most of us

Now we know where to plan our next trip - Le Marche anyone :neener:

Cheers,
Robin.

Re: Pesky Smoke Alarms

I've usually got four open (S2C, OLLR, CASPA and this one)

Maybe that's why the new brake kits for my Carawagon are still in an unopened box in the lobby

Re: Proper rare... ;)

Yep, probably even rarer than Patrick's 109" Station Wagon Carawagon. I think there's another 88" Carawagon in about the same state as yours, (ie. restoration in progress!) in Worksop, and of course, John Carroll's Abersoch Express  I know what you mean though, about motivation etc...

Re: Salutaions

Nice one - is she still original on the inside; ie. stretchers, or stripped out?

Oh, and welcome

Cheers,
Robin.
