Would be interested to know the reason for the mesh over the rear window - was it for security? I‘ve seen mesh over the complete rear windo before, but not the partial covering?

It was so he could leave the window open for his dog.
He used the vehicle for his job, which meant he was sometimes away from home for a few days and the dog would be left in the Carawagon while he worked.
