Fantastic, Phillip - I'm really pleased for you.
What's it like inside? What layout?
I'm sure we'll see the pictures soon - just can't wait
Cheers,
Robin.
PS. I can see your smile, or was it just the sun through the rain

Great find Phillip and all thanks to Dan - get those pics posted asap. I know someone who may be interested in your Station Wagon, will be in touch. Way back Mick Outhwaite told me about the Lady Sopwith-Pilkington Carawagon I bought, and I told Robin and Patrick about the first Carawagon they acquired. Big Dave managed to grab a Carawagon I discovered for sale in Stockport. Steve now has the Carawagon I bought in the early 90's and Calum found the one a copper told me about when I bought his Marshall Ambulance - small world isn't it?
Well done that man, you've been very patient.
cheers
John

I would like to say thank you very much Dan for posting
the details of the carawagon this morning
As robin and steve know i have been looking for a long time
and to find one with all the history, letters to and from
carawagon at time of purchase, and 40 years of service
history is very unusual.
Again thanks Dan

You are welcome mate, I look forward to seeing pictures!
BTW, My Dormobile aside, this has to be one of the finds of the year, you were wise to just go for it
Best you start thinking about some sort of grille badge Robin, seems more and more of us actually have campers now :)

Hi Philip
That looks a fantastic truck. The last of the 2a's are universal acknowledged as the finest Land Rovers ever built, so you are a very fortunate man to have this gem. And what a bargain price!
Really looking forward to see some more pictures and seeing her at the show/event this year.
Cheers Mick
