Hi Mick, you did not have to by a roof box, I could have sold you a good roof bag for £55

Did you win it? Have friends over that way, but no idea when it'd make it's way up here.

Hi Rob,

Yes, Mick won that box - a real bargain as well

He just wants someone to collect & hold on to it, I think, as he does make his way down there quite often for family visits.

See HERE

Cheers,
Robin.

Have asked, so will see whether she can (and whether she's still in Ipswich)!

Mick - please can I have some contact details to pass on? She's got space in the shed, so that bit might be sorted. No idea how you'll get it up here though.

Hi Rob

Thanks for asking. Have another iron in the fire, so will let you know if that works out in a couple of days.

Thanks again.

Hi Rob

Thank you again for asking your friend, but I now have the box here in Yorkshire.

Before posting on here I did a search among the couriers I use and they all wanted to put the box on a pallet for about £80, hence the post. I then did a bit more searching and found Paisley Couriers on ebay, who would do it for £25. I search their website, I couldn't quite remember what it weighed, so typed 15KG. and it offered me carriage for £13.99, but also listed loads of exception and roof boxes were one of them. The price was £24.00 through their website, but I couldn't book as I needed the sellers phone number.

After a bit more research, I realised the roof box only weighed 13kgs, so when I got the seller phone number I tried to book again. This time, because I had dropped the weigh, I guess, there were no exceptions and it let me book for £13.99.

The box was collected yesterday at 4.30pm and arrived here at 12.30pm. Bargain service and one to add to the suppliers section.

Cheers Mick
