Nov 2015 Forum upgrade
You may notice a few changes to this forum - we've just done a long overdue update and a lot of the styles and features we used last time aren't available anymore. I've cobbled a few bits together so it still looks and works vaguely like the old one.
Let me know if you spot anything wrong (or odd) and I'll see what I can do.
Patrick

Re: Nov 2015 Forum upgrade
Thanks Patrick - it does now have a 'cleaner' look
It would be nice to have the "Quick links" across the top again, when you get a chance
Cheers,
Dad.

Re: Nov 2015 Forum upgrade
G'day Patrick, it some how looks clearer and i appreciate your time of doing what you have done and i for one was lost a bit after thinking i had done something wrong .
I know it might seem strange to some who don't know me but writing down on here what i had achieved during the day while working on HEC somehow helped me with to me anyway the complexed work i was trying to do and if you remember that part of my brain which helps me understand what i am trying to achieve is long gone so i choose to me anyway a more not so straight forward and complexed way of achieving my goal therefore retraining my brain.
I realize now but not so much at the time how much i relied on the forum since i started to get HEC back ready for the road even though i write a diary every day of my achievements by putting it on here i didn't realize how much it helped me and even helping someone else i don't know but i am glad you are back up and running because to be honest the small amount of electrical work i have managed to do has been very difficult to say the least when really it is quite simple .
I can't coupe with change in normal life but i for one are pleased your back and i can return to normallity .
Catch you later. Brad

Re: Nov 2015 Forum upgrade
Hi Brad,
Things should be back to normal so your diary can continue - though a few things may have moved around they should still be there somewhere
I'll probably be fiddling and tweaking with bits and pieces for the next few days, so if anything goes wrong then it's probably not something you've done! Let me know if it's broken for more than a few hours.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Do you think you could add the tapatalk plug in ?
That will be a great improvement for those who are using a smartphone .
Thanks
Loïc

Hi Loïc,
Tapatalk do publish a plugin we could use, but while researching it I've come across lots of worrying posts about unpatched security holes.
I'll look into it more, but first impressions are I don't trust them enough to give them access to our server.
Out of interest, which smartphone are you using? I'm testing on an Android phone using Chrome and this forum displays surprisingly well on there.
best regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
I'm using a galaxy S5. The forum display well on it, but I find navigating via tapatalk more friendly.
But it was just a suggestion, I'll still coming even without it ;-)
