NOT the Spring Adventure Camp, North Yorks, 13-15 May

Post by RMS » Wed May 04, 2016 11:23 pm

As the Spring Adventure show has been cancelled, Pete Reas and family (Kath, Chris & Jonny) have organised a green field camp near Pickering for that weekend.

There are toilets (portacabin) but no hot water or showers.

It will be a 'chill out' weekend, and there is a very nice pub next to the site with a micro brewery (with tours  )

There is a short green lane nearby and a nice ford if anyone fancies a little trundle out. Of course, there are miles of green lanes and plenty of fords in North Yorks, but this isn't a laning weekend (See the Series 2 Club event in June HERE for a North Yorkshire laning weekend).

Limited space is available and no caravans are allowed due to an agreement with a nearby caravan site.

Please PM navyboyz or me for details.

Cheers,
Robin.

I've just been reminded, unfortunately no dogs are allowed on the field :embarassed:

Cheers,
Robin.

Just back from another great weekend camp

The weather was mixed, but when the sun came out it felt very much like summer is here!

We had a good turnout, all Series 2/2A, with a couple of Marshall ambulances, a couple of Carawagons, a LWB converted for camping, a LWB with a bed in the back, and a good selection of SWB vehicles for those tenting it :gold:

Thanks go to Pete Reas for organising it - perhaps he should organise more Yorkshire events

Also to Kath's Cafe, with indoor seating for when we had a couple of showers on Friday evening, and everyone who managed to get there to enjoy the weekend with us.

Cheers,
Robin.
