rear jerry can holder

Post by AlexB » Thu Jun 23, 2016 6:21 pm

Whilst away in Normandy, we got talking about jerry can holders and it transpired that I have a rear holder, of the same style as the carawagon front ones.

Big Dave suggested that I load up the details on here so some can be manufactured

If you have any queries, or perhaps can't read the dimensions, just ask.

It will feature on the white Dormobile in due course

Fits on the back in place of the grab handle (the holes appear to be the same distance apart)

Here's a picture of Calum's Carawagon with a rear Jerry can holder (from his facebook page HERE):

I made my own front holders for my 'lights in grill' Carawagon (shown here with my firepit):

I used pictures from original brochures and archives to make my copies.

Mick (Jabbawocky on here) also makes copies of the Carawagon front holders for the later lights in wings model (HERE).

Cheers,
Robin.

HI all

Thanks for the dimensions, Alex. I will be making some of the rear holders in the next few weeks and add them to the website. Always looking for information on original accessories for classic campers.

Currently I have early and late Carawagon Jerry Can Holders, matching Carawagon tool boxes and Carawagon roof racks.

Cheers Mick
