North Yorkshire camp, 30th Sept-2nd Oct 2016
Pete Reas has organised a camp for the weekend of 30th September to 2nd October.
This from Pete:
"I have been asked by a few people to organise another camp so here it is. It is going to be held at Cropton (4 miles from Pickering). The site has a water point and a porta cabin with toilets but that is it. The pub is about 100 yards away which sell food and a lot of great beer. It is £5pp per night and I think kids under 15 are free. Dogs are allowed but as there is a caravan club down the road no caravans are allowed but Campers and camping trailers are fine."
Post back on here or PM me if you are interested in going and I'll pass names on to Pete.
Cheers,
Robin.

G'day chaps, this sounds interesting to me if i can work a tad faster or at the moment even get something done at all with it being stand up jobs only .
It might have to be my tent on the back but that is not good at the moment to put up or take down but to be honest i don't like it, my OZ tent which while watching the Blond female at a show put it up in a few minutes looks the more promising .
Regards sleeping in my truck i am all for that but got a bit of a ticking off from my lass with the issues i have at the moment and my sleeping come cooking part of my 88 progress has slowed because of the above .
Not to worry it's just another goal to aim for all be it a bit slower than i would like .
Catch you later. R-Rose .

It would be good to see you out camping it up again Brad - there will be plenty of folk to help you set up and take down your tent
Oh, and if you get to Whitby you've gone too far
Arrangements will probably be discussed next weekend at t'Pit
Cheers,
Robin.

Thanks Robin but as you know it has been a story of my life since i got a licence but if you look at it this way every trip is an adventure not knowing where i will end up .
Having a map with me is no good without my reading glasses and as for a Sat-Nav as you and all know i still ended up at Scotch Corner .
How i managed in years gone by beats me but i do remember going to pick up a cruiser from Lock-Ness and taking a short cut around the lock on narrow roads with a low loader ending up with a couple of ton of soil on the trailer all because i couldn't hang out enough on some of those tight bends along with logging trucks where the drivers had taken there brains out .
Good times a tad on the crazy side no movement order but i managed to tag on the back of two guys with a large load up the top end of Lock Ness, the good old days when if i did get lost a Log book was far better than a Taco in the cab.
