Other land rovers listed on my bit if paper are;

1967 ONY609E

1962 9395NE

Nope, none of those, mine are:
YSY
BWM
BSU

The picture above was taken in 2008 just after it's rebuild up north of me, the stuff in the foreground is the internals of another one just off to the left of the picture........time for a drive round past again methinks.

I believe I read somewhere that an injury forced a rethink and that he kept one back, not too far from your old man's place actually.
There is another company started in Inverness hiring out Defenders fitted with roof tents and all the gubbins.

Interesting business......

So the chap kept one back huh.... I wonder how long he will have it for :laugh: I am pretty sure there must be some more lurking in that neck of the woods, especially after I turned up that roof.

That was mine mucker. Yes I did start a business but had to pull the pin due to ill-ness. I have a broken a couple of vertibrae and it smarts a bit. Another reason we pulled the pin though was having to field "enquiries" from slevering old farts from all corners of the globe wanting to yap about every land rover they ever owned. You are right in your assertion that I have hung on to one and will not be parting with it. She's a '68 one owner first reg. in Kemnay, Aberdeenshire.
