Dunsfold Open Weekend 15th and 16th June 2013
We visited this event from Thursday afternoon until Monday morning.
Our Carawagon was the only one there and we had quite a few people interested in it.
One gent who had previously worked at Searle was very interested in viewing and talking about it as
he said he had not seen one in this condition for a number of years.
This gent himself had a lovely refurbished 1934 Winchester caravan towed by a series 1 which was
previously owned by Searle as it was a trade in for a Carawagon.
We mentioned the LRCC forum to a number of people so hopefully a few may view the forum for their selves.
The collection was wonderful to see over 100 land rovers, even the car park was a show in its self.
So if anyone is interested and wondered whether to go or not I would say get along to the next open weekend
in 2015.
Best wishes Les

Re: Dunsfold Open Weekend
Nice to see you and Yvonne again
I must admit we (me, Mel and Harry) went down only for the day in the Berlingo, it was more of a spur of the moment thing for us + the fact that I was unsure of what it was going to be like! Well, it was well worth the trip down, only disappointed by the fact that I didn't take a motor and show it.
Think it might be worth getting a LRCC stand for 2015?

Re: Dunsfold Open Weekend
hi
i had a day out at the dunsfold collection on sunday
what a great collection of landrovers, well worth the
journey.but also a very good display of other landrover
related stands( and a good display by the s2 club)
I would support a display by lrcc in 2015.
only 1 dormobile on the s2 stand, and 1 carawagon in
the trade stands
