Nice piccie Stu, Pip, the owner, appeared briefly on the stand at Peterborough earlier this month complaining about brake problems, clearly now sorted.

What are the leaf springs attached to the front for?

Dan, they are the long leaves out of a front and rear set in case of breakage out in the wilds.

You can get away with other leaves breaking - just pack something between the bump stop and the axle - but not the ones with the bushes as they hold the axle in position.

Yes, I did speak to the owner. He was nice chap, however one thing I did pick up on was that he didn't seem too keen on driving any great distance in it, which seemed a shame.
