Hi Robin & everyone else who went to Litton Great weekend really enjoyed it and the company. Thanks John for taking Neil and I on that arduous walk which the wind made twice as difficult but was worth it for the views and we 2 silver surfers really showed what we are made of when all the younger end stayed resting in camp. And now for the grumpy bit but meant in fun - my well loved refurbished "country cottage" is very upset about being called a tin snail (a Jeremy Clarkson quote I believe) because she's not tin she's aluminium and has plenty of life and fun left in her yet and she says as for being a snail, well she may slow the traffic down a bit (not a bad thing sometimes) but snails do the job they are designed for extremely well and that is "Gobbling up Leafers" so she'll be seeing you all at Leafers in August., seriously though it was a good weekend and we look forward to another sometimes and having another game of bowls with William even though he beat me 7 times, I still say he cheated. I did take loads of photos but haven't got the hang of down loading them onto this site so will have to try and send them to you Robin.
Best wishes to All - Freda (Muckitups Mum)

Yes, I'm afraid open fires aren't good with damp wood and wind!

That's why I made the adjustable firepit so it can be closed right up if needs be - perhaps we all need to huddle around that next time if it's windy again?

Cheers,
Robin.
