I put a quick write up together about a recent trip in the US to the Overland Expo West. There were three Dormobiles present and although the weather was not ideal, we all had a good time.
My write up:

My pictures from the show:

I did not mean to link dump, but did not want to copy and paste the info and then upload the photos again.
Hope you enjoy.

It was good to meet you Sean, glad that the extra cylinder meant that you got home quickly! I left on Sunday afternoon and got back Tuesday afternoon. All 4 cylinders performed as advertised and the addition of the overdrive meant that cruising speed and fuel economy were much improved compared to my last trip. I usually like to take Route 66 where it exists as it is more my speed, but 60 miles or so have been closed due to flash flooding so I had to take the Interstate freeway, which was very tedious. I did manage to spend half a day off-roading around the south side of the Grand Canyon. I plan on returning there later this year with more time and a better map.
- It rained, it snowed............
- South of the Grand Canyon -somewhere
- Somewhere in the desert
- Almost home - Pacific Coast Highway
Altogether, it was an epic journey - a 1,400 mile round trip. looking forward to the next one!
Ian
P.S. Just to make you UK folks jealous, petrol in Arizona was around 2 UK pounds a gallon.

As usual, brilliant pics Ian...
As Jerry said, hope yours is water tight, mine isn't. Last show in Rushden, I had a wet pillow and my footwells were both wet...
At least I know where it leaks now...
Hope it was not all rain and snow during the show?
Cheers,
Michiel

My Dormobile had a couple of tiny roof leaks in the roof, nothing serious, which I will fix now that I'm home. Thanks to James and Kelly, we had power on our campsite and I had a small electric heater with me, so I was toasty warm.
- It didn't rain the whole weekend. In fact, on Sunday we had brilliant sunshine.
- On the shore of Lake Mary, just south of Flagstaff
- On the road to the Grand Canyon
Cheers,
Ian
