Well, this post should maybe been moved to a project space maybe...anyway.
Been driving it the last two days, and it runs beatifully. That said, the clutch is no good. Might be soaked in oil or just old..as the car has not been moved since 1979. Got to find out what to do with it some day. No..I am just so pleased with it running.
The interior ha been oiled up several times now whith "chinese wood oil". I am going to put some oil and lacquer on the panels that has nothing at all.

Looks real Nice, good work, the color of the Wood makes it cosy.
Really intrigued by the roof "extension", do you lift the sides up, and secure the roof to the lifted sides?

My latest project.
I had to remove the old propane coolbox. (I can replace it if I would and should someday.)
Replaced it with som new panels and a cheap but good enough coolbox for 12V
Think its looking quite nice now after oiling up the original panels for a soon 60 year old car!

One of the square windows can be opened. I also have an original frame with mosquito net in.

Definitely looking good.

I would be wary of that cheap coolbox though. They don't cool as well as they are advertised to and draw quite a few amps. Do not leave it switched on when you park up or you will soon have a discharged battery !

That looks so awsome. It is realy roomy and airy. Love all the wood oiled up. Love to see it in the flesh one day.

Right now its without a working clutch. The car was left untouched from 1979 and until I started it, so rubber of all kinds are probably very bad. So I have not been able to use it this summer as planned but new clutch parts is on its way now this week from John Craddock. I ll post som pics when things have changed, but there is 7 other cars competing with this one to get/stay on the road...so

Do you have any photos of the roof down, from the inside?

Just wondered how the sides fold down and are supported when down.

I'm really tempted to have a go at making something along the same lines as it really does look good, in my opinion

Perhaps another camper in my stable to go with the Carawagons

By the way, looking at the first photos again, is that the table stored above the cab area?

Hi Robin. It just the headlining you see on the pics. It would have been a good idea to store a camping table there maybe. I will take a photo of the camper top folded down and post it asap. Right now I am getting it back on the road. Had the first trip yesterday after fitting new master and slave for the clutch. So..now its focus on brakes on the rear axle and fixing the backlights.
Then I will be ready for a round the world trip...Ill guess
