That is a homemade sunroof / hatch on the Carawagon. It was there prior to Mike buying the Carawagon. The weather was perfect for it.

Re: The Great Continental Divide expedition 2015
Ian, the trip looks amazing. We should plan a central meet in the near future to do some traveling when schedules permit.

Fall Color Trip Dormobile AND Carawagon
So I just got back from a trip to view the changing leaves here in Colorado with a friend of mine in his Carawagon. I have been tied up with a home remodel project, but finally got the Dormobile out for some activity. I did a write up on my blog: http://travelinlightdormobile.com/20...e-fall-colors/...

Mick,
Thank you, that helps a lot. I was thinking something similar but I was concerned about height as I am 6' 4". This may be my best option.

Looks great, could you provide a little more information on the awning on the Dormobile and how it attaches to the vehicle?
Thank you,
Thank you,

Overland Expo West 2015 (USA)
I put a quick write up together about a recent trip in the US to the Overland Expo West. There were three Dormobiles present and although the weather was not ideal, we all had a good time. My write up: http://travelinlightdormobile.com/2015/05/20/overland-expo-2015-flagstaff-az/ My pictures from the...

Re: Hello from Denver Colorado USA
Thanks Ian, looking forward to it.
What movie are you working on if I can ask? We got 8 more inches here in Denver last night and it just started to snow again. People around here always forget that Feb and March are the snowiest months in CO.

Re: Hello from Denver Colorado USA
Thank you It is titled as a 1972 as it was a late 1971 build and then off to Dormobile for the conversion. I call it a 1971 as that is the real year for the IIA. It has the full syncro transmission but no Salisbury yet. I picked it up earlier this month and have been driving it to get to know her ne...
