I'm impressed with your slot cutter (patent pending) - I need to cut a slot for the edging to my new Dormobile table. I have the edging, the wood, but not the slot. I may set something up with my router............

Ian

My first trip in My Dormobile
I bought my Dormie online via Ebay, sight unseen. It was in Seattle and I live in Los Angeles - in the Hollywood Hills at the time. I exchanged a number of emails with the seller during the process and, having won the auction, arranged for him to pick me up at the airport and he would drive me to hi...

Re: Trips
Thanks Robin. I was really wanting to encourage trip reports as opposed to events, of which I know there are many in the UK. So I guess I need to step up and post some stories of trips.............

Trips
May I suggest a new forum heading to be called trips? The current headings cover just about everything except actual travel adventures . It would be nice to read about other people's expeditions in their Land Rover based campers. We all need inspiration!

Re: Land Rover Dormobile Curtains.......
Hi Jerry, You are welcome. I'm in the middle of renovating the interior of my Dormie and thus curtains are high on the agenda. Looks like you live in a neat part of Oz. I spent 6 months working south of Brisbane a couple of years ago and loved the country around there. Looks like you are the closest...

Windscreen wiper seals
The Series IIA wiper seals that stop the water from getting into the motor mechanism can be obtained from Pangolin 4x4 in the USA.

Greetings from far, far away
Greetings to all from Malibu, California. I'm a transplanted Brit and have been in California for some 20 years. It wasn't a plan, it just happened. I own a 1970 LHD Series IIA Station Wagon that seems to have spent most of its life in California and a 1962 RHD Series IIA ex-UK Dormobile which I bou...
