If you want to join us, you'll need to print out the form from HERE and send it off with a cheque for £3.00

Let me know if you are coming, just so we've got some idea of numbers.

Cheers,

Patrick & I are setting off to Ripon this morning.

John arrived yesterday in the Military Carawagon, so probably had a night on his own - lonely?

Looks like a good weather forecast, though I've just fitted an Eberspacher heater to mine (like in Patrick's & Steve's) for the frosty mornings - are we getting soft? Cab heaters and hot water bottles - that doesn't sound like hardened expedition campers :neener:

Cheers,
Robin.

Another good weekend - a bit grey and cool on Saturday but it came good on Sunday with blue skies and hot sun

Saturday with John in the Military Carawagon (well camouflaged!) with Patrick's and mine in front.

Sunday when Les & Yvonne joined us.

It was another good turnout of classic cars, with around 400 arriving on the Sunday morning, and we were very busy as usual showing our unique vehicles.

Thanks to those who managed to make it

Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Robin,

thank you all for the welcome on Sunday at Ripon, had I not been on the Coast to Coast it would of been nice to join you sooner.

It was a nice day weather wise and a good display of classic cars.

Yvonne still thinks it funny seeing the surprised looks on other car users faces as they pass and see the driver knitting away.

Will probably get on a few other LRCC stands with you next year if we are allowed.

Best wishes Les :tiphat:

Thanks for joining us Les & Yvonne - an extra Carawagon makes all the difference to a display

Just for those who don't know the Carawagon, it's 1972, very low mileage (27k), very original and clean with 6 pot engine and left hand drive, hence the 'driver' doing her knitting as Les is driving along :aaagh:

Here's a picture of it on it's way to us on the Saturday (unashamedly pinched from the S2C facebook page :neener: )

Unfortunately we're coming to the end of this years round of shows - just Peterborough this weekend and Newark Tractor & Heritage show in November, though we might be able to fit a weekend away somewhere as well.
The first 'local' one next year is Mark Woodward at Ripon on 6th May 2013, and the first 'big' show is LRO Driffield (12/13 May 2013) so keep an eye out in the 'Events' section.

Cheers,
Robin.
