Cornwall and France (again)

Post by AlexB » Sun Oct 07, 2012 10:37 am

Just about to set off for a few days in Cornwall to catchup with family, then off to Brittany to see second born, retuning via LeHavre in a couple of weekends time!

Hopefully a reasonably trouble free trip.

Watch out for that Brittany ferries lot, they went on strike when I was over there a couple of weeks ago. We had to drive to Calais and catch the ferry from there.
Not everything has to be big!

Had the ferry booked a good while ago. Just waiting to have some grub, then off up to Plymouth.

31 mpg on the way down to Cornwall even with roofrack

Got back in at quarter to four this morning. Pics to follow in due course, but good trip. Had a puncture on the M27 last night, in road works, so called the BYT who changed the wheel for me.
Only other problem was caused by wiper /wash switch giving up. So need to replace that.
31.5 mpg :)

Nice one Alex - glad you're home safe and we're looking forward to the pics and a full report.

Will there be a bottle of beer in every shot?

You must have been hammering it to only get 31.5mpg :neener:

Cheers,
Robin.
