Hello from Wiltshire
Hello,
Im 24 and have recently invested in a series 3 1972 carawagon. New to the whole restoring game but my step dad (user name - dfjl) has a lovely example of a carawagon so thought I would join the fun. I look forward to sharing my experience and adventures with you all.

Re: Hello from Wiltshire
Hello Robin,
Well, mine is off road and dry stored for the winter when it will be serviced and generally fettled ready for next years trips. It will come out for its m.o.t. in December but that will be it for a few months.
As for the other one, we have no photographs at the moment but it is the carawagon that was on ebay from Norway a few weeks ago. Just sorting out the logistics at the moment.
Will it be good value, only time will tell. Will it be a good deal, must be. Anything is better than leaving it languishing in a barn somewhere.
Regards, dfjl

Hi dfjl,
That's good to hear yours is 'on the road' even if it's put away for the winter.
It's also good to hear the Norway one was rescued - I hope you and your lad get it back into the UK with no problems and we're looking forward to seeing the restoration progress
Cheers,
Robin.

Re: Hello from Wiltshire
Hi,
A bit more info on the Norwegian carawagon, in future to be called "The Moose". It should arrive before the end of November.
It is a 2.25 petrol and the original licence plate was LPD 606k, last taxed in 1997 colour blue.
Photos and more info when it arrives.
Regards, dfjl
