HI all
Just had to make a customer a special Roof Rack for his Dormobile and he wanted brackets for fitting spot lights. What doe folk think of high level lights? Are they just for show or do they have a use? I sthe reflaction in bad weather as bad as folk say? I cannot make my mibd up if they look good or not? Louise hate them.
Let me know what you think?
Cheers Mick

Re: High level spotlights
I'd go for smaller lamps but I do fancy some on my motor to help see over dips better off road after dark
Re: High level spotlights
I'd expect them to be better off a normal Dorma roof rack (assuming normal attaches to the screen hinges) as they'll be further forwards. Could see a use for off road, but otherwise not so sure. You'd lose them with the first tree anyway....

Hi Mick,
I had spot lamps fitted to the rack on Dormy before. Proper rectangular long-beam ones (the fog lights were on the bumper). See here: -

Though they were forward of the cab they still illuminated the bonnet too much and I stopped using them.
