Hi all,
I am in the process of installing my cab heater.
I only need to find a suitable place for my separate diesel tank.
I had the idea of using one of these metal oil cans of 5 litres from Halfords. I thought of sticking it under the bonnet on the nearside just behind the overflow bottle for the radiator.
My reasoning is that it is out of the way there and when the engine is running it preheats the diesel on those cold days.
But I'm looking for your opinion as to the temperatures in under the bonnet. Would it actually be too hot to do something like this?
Or should it be ok?
Cheers,
Michiel
