Welcome from deepest Wigan (Ish)
Welcome from deepest Wigan (Ish)
Hi, just wanted to Say Hi and hello, we are new to the LRCC, in all aspects, this site, Land Rovers and Campers, we do like an adventure!!
A few months ago we adopted a 1965 Lomas Civi' Ambulance. Some of you my know the vehicle if you follow historical Land Rovers, it has had quite a past and some of it well documented on the web, forums and in magazines. VTU104E, or 'Annie the Ambulance' as we know her.
For her next adventure into life, as well as retain her as an ambulance with as many of the features as we can keep, We have decided to fit her out for camping. The intent being that the interior is removable with little or no permanent fixtures. Well thats the plan and we are currently building the framing, cushioning and cupboards. If its successful we may even post some pics :) Hoping for her first run out proper at the end of July.
Look forward to chatting along the way with you

Hi Steve & Corrie, and welcome.
I had noticed a few posts from you over on S2C about your Lomas and hoped you would find your way here
It would be great to see some pictures as you are progressing.
Cheers,
Robin.
