Anyone interested in a swap - Camper for Hi-cap or something

Post by moogling » Tue Jul 12, 2016 10:11 am

I spent two years building up the camper pictured below. She's solid, but designed to look tatty to stop people looking at it too hard!

It's a series II bulkhead, 300tdi with r380 gearbox.

Camper body is steel frame clad in Alu, 25mm of celotex insualtion inside, and lined with ply, overall she weighs in just 100kg or so more than standard hi-cap.

The body is bare inside ready to fit out. Alot of people say , wow that's going to create drag, but the vehicle is running at 25mpg, which is 1mpg more than my standard 110!

I love the truck, and have spent way too much time on it, but I need a hi-cap for work, and recently got hold of a dormobile top for the 109, so is less required.

Other alternatives are that I might sell the body alone, or maybe even the truck outright. I'm testing the waters here to see if anyone is interested.

Anyway, Any interest, PM me and we can chat.
