Raby Castle (near Durham), 24th June
Hi guys,
There's another Mark Woodward Classic Car show coming up, on 24th June 2012 with camping available the night before.
As some of you know, Mark's shows are not specifically Land Rover, but he does have a lot of interest in Series Land Rovers, so we are always made to feel welcome at his shows.
This one is at Raby Castle, near Durham.
The link to his shows is HERE
You will need to download, print, and send off the booking form with three of your hard earned pounds
The booking form is HERE
Please can you let me know if you are coming to this, just so we have some idea of numbers?
It is a one day show (on Sunday), and we cannot get onto the site until after 1pm on the Saturday for this one.
Cheers,
Robin.

We will be popping along to this show in the carawagon as it is quite local for us.
Hope to arrive Saturday afternoon to camp overnight.
Is anyone else thinking of going along?
Best wishes Les

Sorry Les, looks like you'll be a lonely camper for this one - too many personal pressures back here to come to Raby, but hope to see you at Billing, if not before
Cheers,
Robin.

Re: Raby Castle (near Durham), 24th June
Went along to Raby Castle classic car show and was the lonesome carawagon there.
Raby Castles' grounds have a good scenic aspect for a classic car show.
There was much interest from a lot of people, both land rover folk and non land rover folk quite pleased with the originality and usefullness of the carawagon.
A Jaguar club meet was in attendance which provided a good selection and variety of Jags.
The weather turned out to be better than expected sunny with a few clouds and we were lucky not to see any rain.
Ian (Catnap) and myself had a good day out chatting to people and viewing other classic cars.
Best wishes Les

Hi Les,
Glad you made it there - sorry we couldn't get there ourselves.
As you found at the previous shows, the Carawagons & Dormobiles always attract a lot of interest, meaning it's sometimes difficult to get away to view the other vehicles on show.
Hope to see you soon at another show
Cheers,
Robin.
PS. Did Mark give you our plaques from the Ripley show?

Hi Robin,
Mark was on holiday, Barbara was in charge.
She knew who I was and did not pass on any Ripley plaques.
Best wishes Les
