1975 LHD 109 SW
Re: 1975 LHD 109 SW
Hi Brad, I think as long as we try our best no matter what situation we are in were doing good.
I did lot more painting through the week but mainly I managed to nearly finish electrics on 1958 S2 which is at the moment in the way of my project and I don't want to start grinding and welding with this beauty standing near. Too much nasty dust would come her way.
Tomorrow morning im going back to rehabilitation to get back some dexterity
Catch you later

Hey I'm back in business. Laser guides, out riggers front legs all going in with utmost care and presission. Original chassis have about 0.4" twist to it but I take it it's within Land Rover manufacturing tolerances. We will try to adjust it using winch to get it straightened but I think it's already near enough.

Another full day at the workshop with my mate. We got there for 7AM, did heaps of welding and fabricating, but at the end we run out of 1mm cutting discs and welding wire so we finished early at 7PM. To be Continued tomorrow

To aid the final fitting of rear xmember today I tidied up the rear tub. It's so far only in primer because I'll be doing some changes to the interior storage boxes. I have painted the underside as well to stop the galvanic corrosion between the steel supports and bare aluminium
