HI Robin

Sorry for not getting back to you. Please confirm me on your list. Got to make sure that there is at least one Dormobile to spoil the Carawagon line up.

Cheers Mick

Thanks Mick - I'll edit the list.

Someone's got to be there to sell us ice creams if it's a hot weekend :neener:

The Military Carawagon is part of a collection being looked after by Wayne (also a member on here - Lardrover) for an overseas collector. Wayne also often drives a 'Pinkie' from the collection.
The idea is that they are used for shows rather than being hidden away in storage for no-one to see, so John has been offered the chance to use it for some shows.

It's an interesting one as the Army decided the roof leaks could be cured by fixing the roof permanently up with a tight canvas over it :stars:

I think Peterborough is its last outing from 'oop North' as it's going to a new custodian 'darn Sarf'. However, I think it's being swapped for another vehicle so watch out for John in something different

Oh dear - I've just got the tickets & map and they've separated us from the S2C stand :thud:

They (Live Promotions!) say that they didn't know that we were associated with S2C as we didn't put it on the application form!
I sent the all of the forms in at the beginning of the season with a covering note stating that we wanted to be next to the S2C stand, but the person I've just spoken to says there's no note on the Peterborough application and there's nothing they can do about it now as all the pitches have been allocated.

(Note Us at bottom right of centre, S2C on the left of centre)

As well as being separate, it is a much smaller stand and there is no room for separate camping, so anyone wanting to be on our stand will have to sleep in their vehicle or set up their tent/'van in the camping area.

What a mess - I'm so disappointed!!!!
I've worked so hard to make sure we keep a very close link with S2C and I'm just hoping we're not seen as trying to break away :stars:

Ah well, I'll post over on S2C as well, just to let them know it wasn't deliberate, and we'll play it by ear as to where we spend the evenings.

Robin,

I don't think there will be a problem or misunderstanding! As the majority of folk on the LRCC stand are S2C as well, just borrow some S2C bunting and decorate the stand with both LRCC and S2C, then it will be obvious that the two clubs are associated.
